I’m stoked to welcome you to the very first blog post on my site! As a passionate surfer, skater, and all-around adventure enthusiast, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the environment – it’s our playground, after all. But over the years, I’ve noticed changes in our natural landscapes and oceans, changes that are hard to ignore. It’s what drove me to start this brand, a sustainable and circular fashion line dedicated to everyone who loves the surf, adventure and sun as much as I do.
Living the beach life, we’re constantly exposed to the elements, and it becomes second nature to notice when things aren’t as they should be. Whether it’s litter on the beaches or pollution in the ocean, the signs of environmental distress are everywhere. It made me think: how can we, as a community of adventurers and nature lovers, give back to the very environment that gives us so much?
That’s why sustainability is at the core of everything I plan to do here. PhillyCo clothing is designed not just to look great and perform well, but to also make minimal impact on the planet. From using eco-friendly materials like recycled polyester and organic cotton, to adopting a circular system where our clothes can be returned, repurposed, or recycled. Every piece tells a story of commitment – not just to style, but to stewardship.
I believe that fashion shouldn't come at the expense of our planet. That's why I want to be transparent about my processes and continuously seek out innovative ways to reduce waste, conserve water, and lower my overall environmental footprint. My goal is to create garments that you feel good wearing, both inside and out, knowing that you’re contributing to a solution and not the problem.
Joining the movement doesn’t mean compromising on your style or your performance needs. My designs are inspired by the rugged functionality and laid-back aesthetic characteristics of surf and skate culture, blended with a clean, modern approach that you can wear anywhere. Whether you're hitting the waves, cruising the concrete, or exploring hidden trails, PhillyCo apparel stands up to the challenge while helping preserve the beauty of our natural playgrounds.
This blog will be a space where I share more about my journey, offer tips on sustainable living, and celebrate the adventures that shape us.
